Sonova Consumer Hearing warrants to the initial end user purchaser that the product will be free of defects in manufacturing, parts, materials, and workmanship under normal use for the warranty period specified below.
Warranty periods
OTC Hearing Aids
1 year from the date of purchase with proof of purchase. An optional In-Clinic Care Package (purchased from a participating service provider) extends coverage to 2 years.

Remanufactured / Refurbished Products
Standard warranty applies when purchased from sennheiser-hearing.com or an authorized reseller. Remanufactured headphones, TeleCom headsets, and Bluetooth products carry a 90-day warranty. Out-of-warranty TeleCom headset replacements carry a 1-year warranty.
Warranty eligibility
To be eligible for warranty service, you must provide a valid bill of sale from an authorized retailer including:
- Retailer name
- Original date of purchase
- Model or SKU number
The following are not accepted as valid proof of purchase:
- credit card statements,
- PayPal/eBay confirmations,
- bank statements,
- shipping documents.
What is not covered
- Counterfeit or grey market products from unauthorized dealers.
- Damage from inadequate repair by the end user or unauthorized repair centers.
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers or labels.
- Damage from accident, misuse, abuse, or acts of nature.
- Lack of reasonable maintenance and care.
- Use of incompatible batteries, power supplies, or accessories.
- Consumable items such as batteries, ear cushions, ear tip covers, cable clips, foam windscreens, and cases.
Repairs and replacements
- All repair costs including parts and labor are covered by Sonova Consumer Hearing.
- Sonova may replace the product with a new or remanufactured unit at its discretion.
- In cases of product obsolescence, a suitable replacement will be chosen based on features and intended use. The same color or appearance cannot be guaranteed.
- All repairs and replacements are guaranteed for 90 days or until the end of the original warranty period, whichever is longer.
- Advance replacements are not available – the original item must be returned before a replacement is shipped.
- Turnaround time depends on parts and product availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Shipping
- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs when sending the product to Sonova for repair.
- Return shipping to the customer after repair is free within the 50 United States and Puerto Rico.
- Products must be shipped in original or suitably protective packaging. Sonova is not responsible for damage incurred during inbound shipping.
Refunds
- Refunds are available only for products purchased directly from Sonova Consumer Hearing within 30 days of purchase.
- For products purchased from a distributor or retailer, please contact the original seller.
