When your phone or tablet has internet access (Wi-Fi or mobile data), the Smart Control App (used for Ambeo Soundbars) or Smart Control Plus app (used for Headphones) will notify you if a new firmware update is available and guide you through the process step by step. The update is sent to the product wirelessly over Bluetooth (over-the-air update).
You can check the current firmware version and manually check for updates in the app's Firmware status section.
Tips
- Keep your device connected to the internet and the Sennheiser CHB product nearby during the update.
- Make sure the headphones are sufficiently charged before starting.
