Improving audio quality on PS4/PS5
PS4/PS5 consoles usually switch Bluetooth dongles to HFP profile, which enables a voice back channel but limits audio bandwidth. To force the BTD 700 back to A2DP mode for better sound quality, press the BTD 700 button 4 times.
- This will disable the voice channel via Bluetooth Classic.
- Press the button 4 times again to switch back to automatic Bluetooth profile selection.
- Note: This setting reverts after any power cycle or reset of the dongle.
BLE Audio option disappears after pairing
An audio device needs to be connected at least once for the dongle to detect which protocols are supported. If your device does not support BLE Audio, this option will no longer be visible after the first pairing attempt.
