In most cases, wireless interference is not a problem. These tips can help prevent and resolve issues.
Prevention tips
- Keep the headphones and transmitter close to each other.
- Limit other nearby wireless devices while using the system.
- Keep the transmitter at least 2 feet from Wi-Fi routers or Bluetooth transmitters.
- Connect your TV via ethernet rather than Wi-Fi where possible.
If you notice crackling or dropouts
Reduce nearby wireless activity if possible. If that is not possible, try re-establishing the connection around the interference:
- Disconnect the headphones from the transmitter (follow the instructions in your manual).
- Introduce as much wireless traffic as possible (streaming, Bluetooth, other Wi-Fi devices).
- Re-establish the connection between the headphones and transmitter.
If the steps above do not work
- Unplug your Wi-Fi router.
- Turn on the headphones and re-establish the connection while the router is unplugged.
- Plug the router back in. When it reboots, it will assign other devices to different frequencies, leaving the transmitter's signal clear.
