Consumer Warranty Terms and Conditions (Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR)
Your purchase of genuine Sennheiser consumer hearing products manufactured by Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH comes with a limited warranty to the original end-user. The warranty period varies, ranging from 12 months to 24 months (provided proof of purchase is available), depending on the product.

To protect the rights and interests of customers and provide a better service experience, the following warranty policy will be implemented in Mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) from September 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025:
End-user purchase date:
- Before August 31, 2025 (inclusive) - the warranty policy in effect at the time of purchase will still apply, i.e., 24 months (it is noted that except for the ACCENTUM Open True Wireless Earphones and BTD 700, the ACCENTUM Open True Wireless Earphones and BTD 700 enjoy a 12-month warranty period).
- From September 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 - Enjoy a free 12-month extended warranty on top of the new warranty policy effective from September 1, 2025, meaning the warranty period is calculated as 24 months (Note: Except for the ACCENTUM Open True Wireless Earbuds and BTD 700, the ACCENTUM Open True Wireless Earbuds and BTD 700 enjoy a 12-month warranty period).
- After-sales proof : The purchase date for the end user shall be based on the date stated on the valid purchase invoice, electronic voucher, or stamped sales slip.
The warranty applies only to products purchased from the current product line.
The warranty period described above begins on the date the first end user purchases a brand new, unused product and applies only to the original purchaser (the first end user to purchase the product). Please retain your sales receipt (or warranty certificate) as proof of purchase. If a copy of the proof of purchase cannot be submitted (which will be verified by your local Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH service partner), any repair costs will apply. The proof of purchase must specify the date, place of purchase, and product name.
If, within the applicable warranty period, the product is determined to have an original defect due to improper materials or workmanship, Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH or its service partners will repair or replace the product or its defective parts free of charge (at the sole discretion of Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH). Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH may also, at its sole discretion, refund part or all of the original purchase price in exchange for a returned product.
Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH or its service partners may replace defective products or parts with new or refurbished products or parts. All replaced products and parts will become the property of Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH or its service partners.
The above warranty does not cover the following situations:
- Minor defects or deviations in product quality that do not affect the product's value or suitability for its intended use.
- Any accessories included with the product
- Rechargeable batteries or disposable batteries (these products have a shorter lifespan, and the lifespan also depends on the frequency of use).
- Malfunctions caused by improper use (such as incorrect operation, mechanical damage, or incorrect operating voltage).
- Proper use under this warranty refers to using the product under the conditions specified in the instruction manual.
- Failure caused by wear
- Any modifications made to the product by the end user or a third party are not permitted unless Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH has given its prior written consent regarding the nature and scope of the modifications.
- For the avoidance of doubt, approved modifications will not void the warranty.
- Fault caused by force majeure
- Defects that the buyer was already aware of at the time of purchase
- All warranty claims will be void if the product is tampered with by unauthorized personnel or repair shops.
- Furthermore, this warranty will be void if identification labels, serial numbers, or safety tags on the product or its components are removed or altered.
Warranty claims may be made in any country worldwide, provided that the legal rights of the applicable country do not conflict with our warranty provisions. No other warranty claims or claims exceeding the rights set forth in these terms and conditions will be accepted.
As the products purchased by the consumer from Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH are governed by the laws of their country, the consumer may enjoy their legal rights in their home country and are not subject to these warranty terms and conditions. The provisions of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods do not apply to this service.
