Where are the batteries on the HDR Headphones?

The rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries are located in the earcups, under the pads.

How to access the batteries

1. Turn the cushion on the earcup to the left (counterclockwise).
2. Lift the cushion off to access the battery.
3. When finished, place the cushion back and turn to the right (clockwise) to lock it in place.

Battery count by model

• HDR 16X, 17X, 18X, 19X: One battery in each earcup.
• HDR 11X, 12X, 13X, 14X: Two batteries in the earcup with the power switch.

Tips

• Make sure the headphones are off before opening.
• If the cushion is hard to lift, rotate it a little more and try again.
