Check your product documentation for any special cleaning instructions for your model. If there are no specific instructions, use the general guidelines below.
Never use solvents to clean your headphones. Earpads are usually replaceable for hygiene – if they get soiled, replace them.
General rule
Use a clean, dry cloth. Do not soak the headphones in water.
Wireless headphones (RS/SET models)
Remove the mains cable from the transmitter and the batteries from the headset (where applicable). Do not use water or soap on these units.
Wired/Bluetooth consumer headphones
If applicable, turn them off before cleaning.
Wired audiophile headphones
Remove the headphones from your player or console. Be careful not to touch delicate exposed elements on open-back units. Some ear pads can be washed after being removed from the headphones – refer to the product manual for instructions.
