Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) is a second, separate connection used by the Sennheiser Smart Control App – not for audio playback.
What Bluetooth LE is used for
- The LE link connects the headphones to the Smart Control App for control and settings.
- Audio is streamed via the standard Bluetooth Classic connection (or another audio path), not the LE link.
Key points
- Device discovery: Some devices (such as computers) can detect LE devices for quick pairing. Make sure the headphones are in Bluetooth pairing mode before scanning.
- Bluetooth LE is not the same as Bluetooth LE Audio, which is a separate audio technology.
