How does the Ambeo process streaming apps?

- Quality depends on the Bluetooth codec used.
- Does not support Dolby Atmos.
AirPlay
- Similar to Bluetooth – your phone processes the audio.
- The app shows the source format, but streams at 16 bit / 44.1 kHz.
- Does not support Dolby Atmos.
Google Casting
- The soundbar processes the audio. The app is for control only and does not affect audio quality.
- The resolution shown is what the soundbar receives.
- Supports higher lossless resolutions (up to 24 bit / 96 kHz for SB02).
- Does not support Dolby Atmos streams on Tidal.
Spotify Connect
- The soundbar processes the audio. The app is for control only.
- The resolution shown is fixed.
- Does not support Dolby Atmos.
Tidal Connect
- The soundbar processes the audio. The app is for control only.
- Audio is lossless at the source; the resolution shown is fixed at 16 bit / 44.1 kHz.
- Supports Dolby Atmos playback – not available through other streaming methods.
