Check your headphones and cable for the following issues:
Damaged USB connector
Small pins can bend or become misaligned easily. Careless handling can make this worse. Inspect both the cable and the socket carefully.
Damp USB connector
Rapid temperature changes, high humidity, rain, sweat, or condensation from cold beverages can all cause moisture in the connector. Make sure the connector is dry before charging.
Debris in the USB connector
Conductive materials like lint or dust can cause short circuits. Consider using USB-C caps to protect ports when not in use.
Do not use a data-only or USB 3.0 cable for charging
Data-only cables are not designed to provide power, and device-specific cables may not have all necessary pins assigned for charging.
Do not use a Quick Charger
Our products do not support Quick Charge. Chargers that provide high voltage or amperage can overheat unsupported devices.
Do not use a charger significantly above 5V / 500mA
Most of our products are designed to charge at 5V / 500mA. USB-C power supplies – especially laptop chargers – can exceed this (often up to 3.3A). Excess power dissipates as heat and can damage the device.
