Connecting to the headphone socket on a TV, A/V receiver, or computer will usually disable the built-in speakers automatically.
This feature will depend on how the audio device was designed and is not related to the headphones themselves.
If you want the speakers to stay on while using headphones but the head socket disables your speakers:
- Check the TV's Audio Menu for a setting that allows speakers and headphones to work at the same time.
- See if there is a separate speaker volume setting that is turned down
- Use a different audio output on the device (such as RCA jacks, optical output, or digital audio out).
- Connect to the cable box or streaming device instead of the TV.
